Holiday Hamster Travel Club Terms and Conditions

Schedule 1: Purpose of the Holiday Hamster Travel Club

The purpose of the Holiday Hamster Travel Club is to allow our customers to help crowdfund for the betterment and advancement of Holiday Hamster. Spending as set out in Schedule 7 will be carried out during the 2019/20 fiscal year, helping to ensure a long term plan for the next 25 years of business and beyond.

 

Schedule 2: Conditions of Membership to the Holiday Hamster Travel Club

Membership to the Holiday Hamster Travel Club can be purchased for a one off payment from the company website and is open to anyone aged 18 years or over.

There are three levels of membership available: Silver, Gold and Diamond. Each is limited in number and has its own benefits, as detailed in Schedule 4.

 

Schedule 3: Membership Card

Joining the Holiday Hamster Travel Club entitles members to a physical membership card, which will be received within 28 days of purchase. The card bears the member’s name, membership number and the expiry date. On the reverse is a telephone number exclusively for that membership level and can be used for bookings and enquiries.

The card provides access to special services and benefits exclusive to Holiday Hamster Travel Club members and as detailed in Schedule 4 – many of which will require you to present the physical card in order to receive the offer or benefit.

In the event that a membership card is lost or stolen, please inform us at the earliest opportunity. Your current card will be cancelled and a new one issued within 7 calendar days, for an administration fee of £25.

 

Article 4: Benefits

A) Travel Discount (All)

Valid on all new bookings, made after the purchase of the Holiday Hamster Travel Club. Silver level members receive 6% discount. Gold level members receive 8% discount. Diamond level members receive 10% discount.

The appropriate discount as per the membership level will be applied at the time of booking. All bookings and purchases made with Holiday Hamster of up to eight passengers are eligible for the discount. For all bookings outside of the UK, whether in whole or in part, the Holiday Hamster Travel Club member must be one of those booked to travel.

Discount is applied to the supplier(s) price, including special offers given by the supplier(s) in question. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers specific to Holiday Hamster. When this occurs, the Holiday Hamster Travel Club member will be shown the options and can decide which they want to opt for.

In the unlikely event that a member is unable to travel or fails to show for any part of the booking, please let Holiday Hamster know as soon as practicable using your dedicated telephone number. Any discount given may be removed in part or whole and becomes immediately payable to Holiday Hamster. However our Travel Consultants will liaise with the relevant supplier(s) to minimise any loss of deposit, fees or charges incurred.

B) Free Two Night Getaway (Silver)

Each Silver member will receive one free “Two Night Getaway” gift experience voucher (RRP £149). The experience is for two people aged 18yrs or above. This gift experience will be sent to the member’s home address, along with the membership card. Once received, the “Two Night Getaway” can either be used by the member or given to someone as a gift. Please note, the voucher must be booked and used before the voucher expiry date.

C) Lounge Passes (Gold and Diamond)

Each Gold and Silver member for the validity of their membership, will receive one free lounge pass to the departing UK airport for every passenger on the booking. Subject to availability, these will be booked and confirmed within 7 calendar days of the booking being paid in full.

D) Two Free European Flights (Gold)

Each Gold member is entitled to two complimentary return direct flights, excluding taxes, departing from the UK to anywhere within the continent of Europe. Each return flight is for and must be booked in the name of the Gold member. Travel must be booked and completed within the validity of the membership. Once booked, flights are non refundable and in the unlikely event that a member is unable to travel or fails to show for either leg of the flight, cancellation charges may apply and will become payable immediately to Holiday Hamster.

E) Two Free Worldwide Flights (Diamond)

Each Diamond member is entitled to two complimentary return direct flights, excluding taxes, departing from the UK to anywhere in the world. Each return flight is for and must be booked in the name of the Diamond member. Travel must be booked and completed within the validity of the membership. Once booked, flights are non refundable and in the unlikely event that a member is unable to travel or fails to show for either leg of the flight, cancellation charges may apply and will become payable immediately to Holiday Hamster.

F) Two Complimentary Silver Cards (Diamond)

Diamond Members will receive two Silver Membership cards to use as gifts. Full details of the person(s) being gifted will be required within 7 calendar days of purchase. Each person gifted with the Silver Membership will receive all benefits of the card, including the “Two Night Getaway”.

 

Article 5: Validity of Membership

The length of membership is dependant upon the level purchased. Silver members receive 3 calendar years, Gold members 10 calendar years and Diamond members have 15 years of validity from the date of purchase. The corresponding expiry date is printed on card. All benefits are available to the cardholder on all purchases and bookings made prior to the expiry date.

 

Article 6: Communication

Holiday Hamster from time to time, may wish to communicate special offers and competitions only available to its Holiday Hamster Travel Club members. Any such communication will be done via email or post and is subject to the company’s Privacy Policy.

 

Article 7: Spending of Funds

All money raised through the Holiday Hamster Travel Club crowdfunding will be used for the betterment of Holiday Hamster and spent in one of the following four areas:

a) IT Development – create a new bookable website, phone app and a robust multi-functional back office platform.

b) Travel Consultants – grow the number of specialists available within the Holiday Hamster brand(s).

c) Marketing – Increase brand awareness and sales through the use of online and traditional media.

d) B2B – develop a dedicated business travel team to work with SMEs and registered charities throughout the UK.

 

Article 8: Modification of the Terms and Conditions

Holiday Hamster reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions governing the Holiday Hamster Travel Club and its benefits at any time. In addition to being displayed here on the website, any changes will be communicated to members by email no fewer than 14 calendar days prior to any changes.
