Malindi and Watamu

Malindi is a small town situated on the north coast offering plenty of relaxing hideaways one of which is Watamu Marine National Park which is great for day trips for snorkelling and diving.

For a more historical day out why not visit the Marafa Depression more commonly known as Hells Kitchen, these sandstone gorges and gullies not only give a glimpse of Kenya’s magnificent landscape but have also become part of the local folklore. The Arabuko rainforest is the perfect spot for nature lovers and bird watchers, and is also an opportunity to see visiting heards of elephant. The rainforest also hides the lost town of Gedi which tells the story of the towns mysterious past.

The gateway to Malindi is through Mombasa where regular buses service the north coast, taxies can also be found at most hotels or you could fly directly.
